Forest Soil Assessments and Stewardship
Watershed Consulting provides soil disturbance assessments and soil stewardship recommendations to agencies andprivate land owners throughout the West. Typically our work is related to pre-project planningfor state or federal environmental assessments.
We have an experienced team of soil scientists and technicians that collect and analyze the data. Most of our work describes forest soil biological and physical integrity. We provide soil condition reports and design project features that minimize impacts to the soil resource or enhance soil biophysical resiliency to disturbance. We offer training in soil bio-physical assessments and soil restoration techniques.
