Watershed Consulting recognizes that roads can severely impact a watershed's physical and biological processes. We emphasize an approach to road removal that identifies and prioritizes where and how roads are interfering with landscape processes. For example, we identify sediment sources that are likely to impact fish-bearing streams. Most often, project goals focus on the restoration of hydrologic processes, soil stabilization, and native plant restoration.
