    Client: Church Universal and Triumphant

    After a Total Station survey revealed a channel gradient and layout suitable for an infiltration gallery, we designed a diversion for 15 cfs utilizing four infiltration galleries. The project also involved a step/pool channel re-design to allow fish passage. The installation will be done this May. Unlike other designs of infiltration galleries, we first analyze whether or not an appropriate grade exists to prevent deposition of fine bedload over the infiltration pipes. Projects often fail because they do not take into account post-construction bedload transport and deposition.
