    Client: MT Department of Fish, Wildlife & Parks

    An old diversion structure on Salmon Creek at Whitetail Ranch had damned the creek, creating a shallow muddy reservoir and a fish passage barrier. We designed a new natural rock weir diversion structure, which resulted in draining the reservoir, creating an E type channel with large woody debris trout habitat. We also installed a self-cleaning Ed McKay design fish screen.
